They are blocking UVA + UVB rays due to mineral filters:
Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) - against UVB
Zinc oxide (ZnO) – against UVA/UVB (full spectrum)
Not destroyed by the effects of:
Sunlight (unlike some chemical filters)
High temperatures
Long-term stability of the formula.
Often contain soothing components (panthenol, aloe).
They can give light matting effect (ideal for oily skin).
